Naming your Restaurant
Yes, I`m the first to admit that Obbligato is not a Spanish word nor does
it have anything to do with Mexican food.... but when we bought the
restaurant, we kept the name, and now its been 29 years.
A couple of points to naming your restaurant:
1. Your name should hint at your content!
This seems obvious but many people use their own name or words
that only have meaning to themselves. This just makes it harder
for the public to enter your establishment... like Obbligato.
2. Use a font!
The design of your name is important. Block letters are more "fast-
food" while taller fonts are more "high-class"
3. Pick your colors!
When trying to establish your brand, its easier for people to
remember the "picture" of your name (ie Logo) than to remember
the actual name.
good luck
